Baseball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris lost to Alvarado on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets lost 11-3 to the Indians. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ferris saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Ferris now has a losing record of 9-10-1. As for Alvarado, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris will face off against rival Life Waxahachie at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Alvarado is set to square off against their familiar foe Venus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
