Baseball Recap: Blue Valley Northwest Huskies vs. Carthage Tigers
Blue Valley Northwest let Carthage stack six runs on them in the fifth inning on Saturday but luckily Blue Valley Northwest prevailed anyway. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Tigers 8-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.
Marshall Awtry was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Nathan Troutner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
