Chatham Charter will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Clover Garden School extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Grizzlies blew past Central Carolina Academy 3-0.

Clover Garden School never let Central Carolina Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-19.

Clover Garden School had a senior duo take command as Hanna Tickle had three digs and three aces and Chloe Welch had nine digs and two aces. Tickle is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 20 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Clover Garden School was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 12 consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Chatham Charter made easy work of Southern Wake Academy on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chatham Charter was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-15.

Chatham Charter's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Clover Garden School, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
