 The North Putnam Cougars and the Parke Heritage Wolves squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but sadly the North Putnam Cougars had to settle for second. They lost to the Wolves on the road  by a decisive  49-34 margin. North Putnam has struggled against Parke Heritage recently, as their  game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Despite the  loss, North Putnam had strong showings from  Matt Farrington, who  scored five points along with four  steals, and  Nolan Hackleman, who  scored 13 points.
  Renn Harper continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parke Heritage,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 17 points and nine  rebounds. It was the first time this season that  Harper  pulled down eight or more  rebounds.  Max Dowd was another key contributor,  scoring nine points.
 North Putnam's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Parke Heritage, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-5.
 North Putnam does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parke Heritage will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Northeastern at 7:00  p.m.  on March 9th. Hopefully Parke Heritage focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
