Softball Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

Davenport couldn't beat Lake Minneola on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Broncos lost 16-8 to the Hawks. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan Cresswell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lake Minneola, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Davenport will welcome Haines City at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Minneola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
