Soccer Game Preview: Goose Creek vs. Wando

Goose Creek is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Lucy Beckham, falling 4-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Goose Creek's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Wando made sure to put some goals up on the board against Berkeley on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Stags an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Wando, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Goose Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Wando, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Goose Creek might still be hurting after the 12-1 defeat they got from Wando in their previous meeting on March 3rd. Can Goose Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
