Gruver put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 53-36 win over the West Texas Comanches. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-54 back in January.

Gruver's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for West Texas, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-4.

Gruver and West Texas should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Gruver (ranked 194th) will meet Sanford-Fritch (ranked 1287th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Texas will face off against Happy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday up 489 places (437 vs. 926).
