Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Carroll

Carroll kept a clean sheet against Leo on Wednesday. They blew past the Lions 4-0. Given Carroll's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Leo are ranked 78th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Joey Casaburo and Landon Wells scored all four of Carroll's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

The win (which was Carroll's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Leo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3-2.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Concord on the 13th. As for Leo, they will challenge Bellmont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
