Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost against Fair Grove last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs lost 11-1 to the Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Fair Grove, their victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

Coincidentally, Central and Fair Grove will both be playing East Newton the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Patriots at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
