Basketball Recap: Prince RVT Takes a Loss

Prince RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 82-62 to the Grasso Tech Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 66-54 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Prince RVT lost, don't look at Jordan Iverson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 boards. Iverson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cal Williams, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.

Prince RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grasso Tech, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Prince RVT will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Goodwin RVT at 6:30 p.m. As for Grasso Tech, they will challenge Lyman Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
