Basketball Recap: Holy Trinity Classical Christian Takes a Loss

Holy Trinity Classical Christian lost against Andrew Jackson Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Holy Trinity Classical Christian Mighty Lions took a 40-23 bruising from the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors.

Andrew Jackson Academy was led to victory by Harlo Sease and Kinslie Carson. Sease dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds, while Carson went 6 of 14 on her way to 16 points and five boards. Rileigh Barnes was another key player, putting up five points and six assists.

Holy Trinity Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

The future could be bright for both Holy Trinity Classical Christian and Andrew Jackson Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Holy Trinity Classical Christian will try to hand Savannah Christian their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Andrew Jackson Academy will look to extend Cathedral Academy's six-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
