Football Game Preview: Morton/White Pass Timberwolves vs. Bellevue Christian Vikings

The Morton/White Pass Timberwolves will head out to challenge the Bellevue Christian Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morton/White Pass has given up an average of 27.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Morton/White Pass is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Onalaska on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Timberwolves were dealt a 64-12 loss at the hands of the Loggers. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Loggers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The victory made it two in a row for Bellevue Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Morton/White Pass, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Morton/White Pass has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 254.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bellevue Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 176.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
