Basketball Recap: Appleton City Comes Up Short

Appleton City lost against Osceola back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Appleton City Bulldogs took a 69-50 bruising from the Osceola Indians. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Indians are ranked 198th).

Appleton City now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Osceola, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.

While Appleton City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
