Basketball Recap: Lewis & Clark Comes Up Short

Lewis & Clark and Chiawana squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lewis & Clark had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Chiawana Riverhawks 75-47. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Riverhawks are ranked 44th).

Lewis & Clark has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for Chiawana, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Lewis & Clark does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chiawana, they will challenge Mead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Mead's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
