Basketball Recap: Whitewater Falls to Wisconsin Heights in First Game of Season

Whitewater kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Wisconsin Heights Vanguards, falling 63-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Whippets have suffered since January 11th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wisconsin Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sonja Severson, who posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Rj Kalscheuer was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine boards.

Looking ahead, Whitewater will square off against Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wisconsin Heights, they will challenge Juda at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
