Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Legacy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Sebastian River Sharks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won seven contests in a row.

Legacy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.

Legacy was led to victory by Kherington Neikirk and Paisley Woods. Neikirk had eight digs and six aces, while Woods had 11 digs and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Woods a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Legacy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Legacy's record now sits at 19-7. As for Sebastian River, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Legacy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against South Fork on the 14th. Sebastian River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
