Basketball Recap: Lakeville South Triumphs

After losing to Prior Lake the last time they met, Lakeville South decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lakeville South Cougars secured a 56-52 W over the Prior Lake Lakers on Tuesday. The 56-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lakeville South is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Prior Lake, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.
