Softball Recap: LaFayette Comes Up Short

LaFayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Reeltown Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Thursday.

LaFayette's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Reeltown, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Looking ahead, LaFayette will welcome Loachapoka at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Reeltown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horseshoe Bend at 4:00 p.m. on March 27th.
