Basketball Game Preview: Mabton Vikings vs. St. George's Dragons

The Mabton Vikings and the St. George's Dragons will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mabton is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Tri-Cities Prep just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 69-39 loss at the hands of the Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Jaguars are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, St. George's didn't have quite enough to beat Davenport on Friday and fell 67-65.

St. George's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mabton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
