The Heide Trask Titans will venture away from home to face off against the Purnell Swett Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Heide Trask is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Heide Trask turned things around against American Leadership Academy on Tuesday. They blew past the Navigators 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four contests by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Kasem Scarlett looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Uhland, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Tristan Brewington also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Heide Trask hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as American Leadership Academy struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, while Purnell Swett put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Clinton. The Rams came out on top against the Dark Horses by a score of 5-0.
Clinton's batters probably weren't too happy with Aaron Locklear, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up four walks). Locklear has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Grayson Brooks was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Purnell Swett's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-8 when he doesn't). Kade Oxendine was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
The win got Heide Trask back to even at 5-5. As for Purnell Swett, their record is now 6-9.
Purnell Swett's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Heide Trask has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433. It's a different story for Purnell Swett, though, as they've only averaged .358. Will they be able to contain Heide Trask's hitters?
Heide Trask suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Purnell Swett in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
