Baseball Recap: Moss Point Comes Up Short

Moss Point lost to Pass Christian on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moss Point saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Orlando Esmurria, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Moss Point's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Pass Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moss Point will host Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pass Christian, they will welcome Perry Central at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
