            Football Recap: Union Mine Diamondbacks vs. Rosemont Wolverines        
        
		
        
        
            
Union Mine played a tough  game  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by the Rosemont Wolverines and fell  49-22. The Diamondbacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Nathan Gregson threw for 55 yards  on three of seven attempts.   Skyler Hartman was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards.  On the ground,  Aiden Hausam rushed for 156 yards and a pair of  TDs.
 Rosemont got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Logan Wolhers out in front who threw for 233 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also caught one  score. Another back making a difference was  Alex 'Pit' Rodriguez, who rushed for 94 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 13 carries.
Union Mine's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rosemont, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Union Mine is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Bradshaw Christian  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Rosemont will  challenge  rival Argonaut  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
