Central Valley Christian extends home winning streak to ten

Even though the Exeter Monarchs scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers still came out on top. Central Valley Christian took their match against Exeter 70-58. That's two games straight that Central Valley Christian has won by exactly 12 points.

Leading Central Valley Christian to victory were Aj Johnson and Caden Lloyd. Johnson scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Lloyd dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds. Lloyd has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last five times he's played. Justin Stroud was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.

Andrew Taylor and Aden Plyman certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Taylor scored 20 points along with seven rebounds, while Plyman scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Blaine Mcfall, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Exeter struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Central Valley Christian racked up 12 assists.

Central Valley Christian's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game.
