Softball Recap: Valmeyer Pirates vs. Marissa/Coulterville Meteors
Valmeyer extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 13 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 15-0 to the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Meteors when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Marissa/Coulterville, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The result was nothing new for the Meteors, who have now won three games by 12 runs or more so far this season.
For Marissa/Coulterville's part, Analiese Howell was a major factor while hitting and pitching.
