Volleyball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dover can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Conway Christian Eagles on Thursday. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Conway Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Dover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Mansfield on the 20th. As for Conway Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Lavaca on the 20th.
