Turpin put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Batavia Bulldogs by a score of 5-2. Those five runs were actually the fewest the Spartans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Turpin pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Batavia, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turpin will challenge Winton Woods at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Batavia, they will face off against Miami Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
