Basketball Recap: Norwayne Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Norwayne had won nine straight home games and Braden West did his part to make it ten on Friday. The Norwayne Bobcats breezed past the Chippewa Chipps to the tune of 64-29 thanks in part to West, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 22 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Braylon Arnold, who went 5-for-7 en route to 11 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 12 games he's played.

Norwayne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.4 points. As for Chippewa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Coming up, Norwayne will be playing at home against Beachwood at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Chippewa, they will venture away from home to challenge Triway at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
