Basketball Game Preview: Mountain Home Bombers vs. Van Buren Pointers

The Mountain Home Bombers will venture away from home to square off against the Van Buren Pointers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Van Buren took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain Home, who comes in off a win.

Mountain Home got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 56-46 victory over Siloam Springs on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Van Buren was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 55-54 to Russellville.

Mountain Home's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Van Buren, their loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

Mountain Home came up short against Van Buren in their previous meeting back in January, falling 56-48. Can Mountain Home avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
