Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Neches). They came out on top against the Apple Springs Eagles by a score of 20-16 on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Neches' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Apple Springs, they, and Wells. As for the Eagles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neches will square off against Wells at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Apple Springs, they will face off against Alto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
