Bolles came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Creekside Knights as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Knights on their court since September 16, 2017.
The win didn't come easy: Creekside scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.
Sophia Albaugh paced Bolles' offense, picking up 16 kills. Albaugh got some help from Lily Adams and her 17 assists. Albaugh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Bolles now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Creekside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Coming up, Bolles will be playing in front of their home fans against Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creekside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Bartram Trail on the 11th.
