Baseball Recap: Comanche Comes Up Short

Comanche was the 11-9 winner over Dublin when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday.

Bain Barton made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has become a key player for Comanche: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-7 otherwise. Cooper Welch was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Comanche has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. Dublin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6.
