Broadwater Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Noah Pruitt and Teddy Seybolt. Pruitt made all 8 shots he took racking up 21 points, while Seybolt went 7 for 8 en route to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Seybolt a new career-high in points.

Broadwater Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gateway Christian, with the win, they broke their 18-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-12.

Broadwater Academy and Isle of Wight Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Gateway Christian, they will take on Hampton Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
