Softball Recap: Bishop Guertin Comes Up Short

Bishop Guertin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Winnacunnet Warriors. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Bishop Guertin now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Winnacunnet, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Winnacunnet has already played their next game (against Alvirne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bishop Guertin will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' matchup: after the Warriors face off against the Broncos, they'll take on Bishop Guertin again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
