Howells-Dodge extended their postseason success on Friday against Lawrence-Nelson. They were the clear victors by a 30-8 margin over the Raiders. The Jaguars' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Oliver Belina and Hunter Luther. Belina gained 142 total yards and two touchdowns while Luther rushed for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 72 yards.

Howells-Dodge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 239 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 169 rushing yards in 14 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Howells-Dodge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andre Martin and Dane Meyer.

When it comes to explaining why Lawrence-Nelson lost, don't look at Wyatt Frey. Despite the final result, he rushed for 160 yards, and also threw for 79 yards and one TD. Frey's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 160 rushing yards.

Howells-Dodge's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Lawrence-Nelson, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Howells-Dodge will take on St. Mary's on Friday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last ten games. Lawrence-Nelson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
