Basketball Recap: Bad Axe Takes a Loss

Bad Axe has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots. The Hatchets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 47-36.

Bad Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Unionville-Sebewaing beat Bad Axe by a score of 56-51 on Friday.
