Apollo's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Camelback Spartans with a sharp 18-5 victory. With that win, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Michelle Ngchar, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Mercy Chapman was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Apollo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Camelback only posted a batting average of .143.

Apollo's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16. As for Camelback, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.
