John Champe skates past Freedom with ease

The John Champe Knights entered their tilt with the Freedom Eagles with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. John Champe simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Freedom 50-7 at home. Considering John Champe has won five games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
John Champe found their leader in underclassman Dominic Plush, who threw for 517 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Greg Spiller was another key contributor, gaining 165 total yards and two touchdowns.
John Champe's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Freedom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
John Champe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Freedom also has no future games currently scheduled.
