Basketball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Chesapeake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 57-46 to the Oakland Mills Scorpions. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 45-33 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oakland Mills, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chesapeake will welcome Glen Burnie at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakland Mills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Reservoir at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
