Football Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-18 heartbreaker at the hands of the Johnsonville Flashes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since September 6, 2024.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Johnsonville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will face off against Carvers Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnsonville, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m.
