Softball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Rosebud-Lott Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-3 back in March.

Bartlett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marissa Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Rosebud-Lott, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bartlett will face off against rival Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rosebud-Lott is set to square off against their familiar foe Thorndale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
