The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Huntingdon Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Bellwood-Antis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Last Monday, Bellwood-Antis suffered a tough 77-53 defeat at the hands of Forest Hills. Bellwood-Antis was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-21.
Despite the defeat, Bellwood-Antis saw an underclassman step up: Martin Fatzinger scored 11 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fatzinger has scored all season. Anthony Caracciolo was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Huntingdon can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 71-64 win over Juniata Valley. The victory was just what Huntingdon needed coming off of a 80-50 loss in their prior match.
Bellwood-Antis has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Huntingdon, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.
