Basketball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

Century was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. Their2025 ended with a 56-40 defeat against the Twentynine Palms Wildcats.

Century's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Twentynine Palms, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Century and The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will round out the year against one another at 4:50 p.m. on Monday. The Centurions will be up against the Griffins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Twentynine Palms, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Indio at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
