There's no place like home for Blacksher, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats 10-3 on Thursday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Brayden Bailey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Bailey was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Blacksher let Brody Watson and Lagan Rolin run wild. Watson scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Rolin scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Major Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Blacksher has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Blacksher will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
