Football Recap: Payson Lions vs. Kearns Cougars

It was a proper cat-fight when Payson faced off against Kearns on Friday. The Lions blew past the Cougars 45-7. With the Lions ahead 32-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Payson had a senior duo take command as Trevyn Wall threw for 385 yards and three touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes and David Fullmer picked up 168 receiving yards and one TD. Fullmer's longest reception was for an incredible 91 yards. Carson Wall did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 132 receiving yards.

Payson didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Kearns to a completion percentage of just 6.7%.
