Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Patrick). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 victory over the Saranac Redskins on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won three in a row.

St. Patrick's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Saranac, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Patrick will welcome Fowler at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Saranac, they will be taking part in a tournament against Michigan Lutheran Seminary at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
