Baseball Recap: Richwood Takes a Loss

Richwood lost against Highland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lumberjacks came up short against the Rams, falling 21-4. The Lumberjacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaden Jantuah led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kaden Lane, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Richwood's record is now 3-5. As for Highland, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richwood will take on Webster County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to face off against Eastern Montgomery at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
