Softball Recap: Rector Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rector's offense. They came up short against the East Poinsett County Warriors on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Cougars have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rector fell to 2-1. As for East Poinsett County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rector will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marmaduke at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for East Poinsett County, they will take on Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
