Softball Recap: Ouachita Victorious

After losing to Spring Hill the last time they met, Ouachita decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors walked away with a 12-8 win over the Bears on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Gabby Hixon and Tynlee Efird did most of the damage at the plate: Hixon got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Efird earned three runs and three stolen bases. Efird has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Eudy, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Ouachita's record now sits at 8-12. As for Spring Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Ouachita will welcome Harmony Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Spring Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
