Basketball Game Preview: Byhalia Indians vs. Lake Cormorant

Having just played yesterday, the Byhalia Indians will get right back to it and host Lake Cormorant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Byhalia is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Byhalia ended up a good deal behind Horn Lake and lost 65-49. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Eagles are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lake Cormorant beat Lewisburg 48-44 on Tuesday.

Lake Cormorant's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Byhalia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
