Basketball Recap: Frontenac Comes Up Short

Frontenac lost against Labette County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Grizzlies.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Labette County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Rush, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 12 points. That's the most points Rush has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Colten Weil, who earned eight points and four steals.

Frontenac's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Frontenac has already played their next game, a 92-77 defeat against Riverton on the 9th. As for Labette County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-64 win against Circle on the 9th.
